Arts For All, Omaha, Nebraska - Connie Hinman

Connie Hinman

I began my study of dance in earnest at Omaha Academy of Ballet. I was a dance major at Creighton University from 1973 to 1976. In the summer of 1976, I went to Connecticut College American Dance Festival, then moved to New York shortly thereafter. While there, I became enamored with the Martha Graham technique and studied there for several years. I returned to Omaha in 1982 and performed in and choreographed for the Nebraska Dancing Concerts, Creighton University's A Company of Dancers and The UNO Moving Company, of which I am a current member. I have taught at Presbyterian Ministries School of the Arts, Metro College for Kids, The Bellevue Dance Academy, OPS Dancing Classrooms and Arts for All.
